Curt Barrett

Born in Missouri. He began his musical career at the age of 14, where he was in a rodeo as a contestant and there began to learn the Western songs. From there, he moved to Arizona and was heard by a movie scout over KTAR in Phoenix. Went to Hollywood and had been in nearly 30 movies, appearing with such Western film stars as Roy Rogers, Johnny Mack Brown, WIld Bill elliott, Charles Starrett and Gene Autry. A family doctor recommended a move to the Northwest. He got himself a job at KSPO in Spokane for about nine months before heading over to Seattle. There he settled in making personal appearances with his band, called "The Trailsmen". Also appeared on television over KING-TV and had his own half-hour show called "C Bar B Record Tune Corral" over KRSC.
