Об исполнителе:
Romanian band from Timișoara, started in 1980 by Adrian Bărar as a New-Wave group. Hitchhiking came a little later, the first attempts were in 1976, when Mircea Jebelean formed a band with Adrian Bărar, it was called Foc - their first band. Then they renamed themselves Spectrum, after which, while in the army, they formed Autostop, the band Mircea Jebelean later returned to. The first appearances were in small halls and high schools in Timișoara. The rehearsal room was at the club of the "Electromotor" factory, where they also organized a series of concerts called "Evenings" of blues, rock, or new wave. Autostop meant for Mircea Jebelean a trio formula, the period of maturation, both technically and creatively, the period in which he found his way and his creativity was at its highest, especially in collaboration with Mircea Nedelcu. Adrian Bărar was very reluctant about the new road and not really convinced of what he was doing. Mircea Jebelean left Romania in August 1989 by "fraudulently" crossing the border with Hungary and after an unsuccessful attempt he arrived in Austria in September. Officially, the band from Timișoara that was active in the early 80s and had several composition changes, has not released an album. Between 1982 and 1984 the group Autostop composed a total of 18 songs, of which 16 remained completed. In the autumn of 1984, Mircea Nedelcu left for the army, and a year later Adi Bărar formed Cargo (3). In May 1984, Mircea Nedelcu made a recording with Sorin Bârcă. The 16 tracks were recorded at the Electromotor club where they were rehearsing, with a Phillips tape recorder. Before that, Autostop had a recording with two tracks, but these recorded with Sorin Bârcă are of better quality. The songs of the Autostop band were recorded in 1984 in the formula Adi Bărar (guitar, vocals), Mircea Nedelcu (vocals, bass) and Mircea Jebeleanu (drums and percussion)
