American jazz trumpeter (swing era) who played with Gene Krupa, Ted Weems, Joe Venuti, Frankie Masters and others. He married vocalist Marianne Dunne in 1948. Soon after they retired from the show business, moved to Detroit, and went to work for the Volunteers of America.
