Bassist from North Whitefield, Maine, USA. Also member of Frank Hopkins and Line Of Force, Kenya Hall Band, The Returnables Joshua Robbins grew up at the end of a dirt road in North Whitefield, Maine, where he obsessively listened to funk, Ktel disco records, rock n' roll and punk. He started playing bass guitar after hearing The Who's "Live at Leeds" album, and 23 years later he is still going. Joshua currently works with several artists and bands, including Sumner Mckane, Frank Hopkins and Line Of Force, Kenya Hall Band, The Returnables as well as extensive pick-up work. His music has been featured on WBLM, WCLZ, WERU, WMPG and NPR. He has opend for Shamiqua Copeland (SP!!) Enter the Haggis, Tartufi, Caspian, and others. He has played bass with members of Dolly Pardon's band, Dreadnaught, Strangefolk, Boneheads, Twisted Roots and Blood, Sweat and Tears. He also performed with Sumner Mckane on the "ECHOES" radio program with John Deliberto. Joshua has performed at festivals, bars, clubs, parties, weddings and funerals across New England. He currently lives back in Whitefiled, Maine with his wife Eliza and their two dogs.
