Jeff Berman fronts the Los Angeles band/singer-songwriter project, Divided Heaven, and has previously played in Philadelphia streetpunk band The Boils, New Jersey hardcore band The RITES, Washington D.C. band V.P.R. & Lancaster, Pennsylvania rock 'n roll band The Statiks. Jeff Berman has played in various bands like Philadelphia's punk rockers The Boils, South Florida hardcore dudes Protagonist, New Jersey thrashers The Rites, Washington D.C.'s hardcore vets VPR, Lancaster County rock & rollers The Statiks and toured all across the United States, Canada, Europe and Japan. Now based in Los Angeles Jeff's latest venture is the acoustic / indie / punk singer-songwriter project Divided Heaven.The project finds Jeff singing stories rooted in history and politics, travel and experience, love and hope, with further lyrical influence coming from the cities he's called home: Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Berlin, Brooklyn and Los Angeles. Musical influences span from the Swingin' Utters and The Replacements to Bright Eyes and Elliott Smith.
