Rollo Banks

Visual artist and tattoo artist. Banks inherited the Honolulu tattoo shop Sailor Jerry’s in 1973. He moved to Austin, Texas in 1984, opening China Sea Tattoo and tattooing many local musicians and also marrying Margaret Moser (they divorced in the 90s.). Banks died in Chicago in 2007, age 64.
