Jeff "Jay Dog" Scott is an American funk jazz soul drummer and song writer, birth name Jeffery Charles Scott born in Galveston Texas March 12, 1957, parents moved to Dayton, Ohio in 1969. Scott released the single Snakebite in 1983 on his own label. The record gained in popularity during Jay-Dog's tour of Germany's entertainment spots in 1985 where word of his musical, singing and producing skills spread. More copies of Snakebite/Burst out made in 1985-1987.
