RajFAjH

RajFAjH [Rayfayh] was founded on the 29th of January 1991 by Dmitry K. Before that Dmitry experimented with 'noise psychedelic industrial' style music. The original members of the band were: Victor Sh. on drums and Dmitry K., guitars and vocal. Up to 1996 the band recorded original material and gave performances using session musicians. In the transition period between 1991 and 1996 the band played black metal, death-grind metal, ambient and noise-core amongst other experimental electronic sounds. Rajfajh was the first band in Russia to record tracks in black metal style the first recording of which was made in 1991. Between 1997 and 2003 Rajfajh experimented with heavy music in the studio but the addition of a new band member in 2004 enabled them to perform live in clubs in St. Petersburg where they widened their tastes to include drum 'n' noise black, digital grindcore and electro black metal thump the band's own music style. In 2008 Dmitry and Alisa recorded a new concert program entitled "Cult of Cthulhu" and at the same time released a promo with the same title. During 2009-2012 the two piece band actively performed experimental material in different parts of Russia and Europe. In 2011 RAjFAjH performed 'The Baltic' tour (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia) to celebrate the band's 20th anniversary and introduced their Cybergrind material. In 2012 "The True Nation" CD was released (black metal EP) and in 2013 a new drummer, Ilya, joined the band. With the line-up renewed, RAjFAjH returns to its old black metal material while still exploring new work. Now the band performs post-industrial and black metal.
