Valentina Gotovtseva was born in Ukraine, the village of Verkhnyaya Pozhnya, Sumy region. Graduated from the Ippolitov-Ivanov Music College, the Gnessin Institute. For many years she worked for the USSR State Radio and Television. Artist Большой Хор Музыкального Центра РГТРК "Останкино". Performer of folklore songs. Has performed in recitals or as part of a group in the Kremlin Palace of Congresses, in the State Central Concert Hall “Russia”, in the Column Hall. Over the years, she has traveled with concerts to more than thirty countries of the world: she was in the USA, Venezuela, Argentina, Canada, France, South Africa, Japan, China, Finland, Holland. Laureate of various music competitions (All-Union Competition of Folk Performers, International Competition in Yugoslavia). Honored Artist of Russia. The wife of a music producer Лев Готовцев.
