Despite of other sources the Stewart Brothers are not related in any form to Sylvester Stewart from Sly & The Family Stone. That 'connection' was a long time and persevering mistake until Sly & his brother Freddie confirmed both that they have nothing to do with the Stewart Brothers. Despite that denial, the two songs on the Ensign 45 below are both registered with BMI as works by the more familiar Sylvester Stewart, so perhaps they are merely denying their first recordings.
