CELINE HISPICHE (vocals) mixes bawdy music hall and ballsy punk rock in one explosive package. Born in Paris and raised on her parents’ record collections – an unlikely blend of punk rock and music hall - she began her career as a featured writer at London’s Royal Court Theatre, creating a unique act that combined music, history and comic monologues. She has also performed on Broadway and toured with cast members of Saturday Night Live. One of her oddest and most enjoyable assignments was to perform for the artist Louise Bourgeois at her New York salon. Back home in London, she has opened for Harry Hill and Marc Almond, performed at the Royal Festival Hall, and won rave reviews for her 2007 cabaret show at the Edinburgh Festival. DAVE BALL (programming) needs little introduction. He formed Soft Cell with Marc Almond in 1979, while they were studying art together at college in Leeds. Together they wrote and performed countless Eighties hits, starting with 1981 UK chart-topper Tainted Love. In the Nineties he notched up another run of hits as half of a second duo, The Grid, with Richard Norris. Dave has also produced and collaborated with artistes as diverse as Kylie Minogue, The Virgin Prunes, Earl Brutus and Billie Ray Martin, and remixed many more, including David Bowie, The Happy Mondays, Erasure, Depeche Mode, Boy George and The Pet Shop Boys. In addition, he has performed live with artistes such as Cabaret Voltaire, Psychic TV and krautrock pioneers Faust. RICK MULHALL (programming) started in the music industry in 1979 – the same year as Dave Ball – in the band English Evenings, before turning solo under the wing of Pete Waterman and his PWL team. In 1987 he formed Kick Production with Terry Neale, writing and producing for an array of artistes, ranging from Rolf Harris to Jeff Beck. He performed with the band Ultrasonic before forming his own label Dufflecoat Records. Rick began collaborating with Dave Ball on remixes two years ago under the Nitewreckers banner. He is currently working on a variety of music projects for the BBC and writing and producing for the Skull Bandits, as well as running the Richmond recording studios of Kick Production, where Celine & Nite Wreckage record. TERRY NEALE (drums) studied clarinet at the Welsh College of Music and Drama and performed with the National Youth Orchestra of Wales, before studying composition and arranging at Leeds College of Music. Drums and percussion then became his main instrument as he began writing, recording and working as a session musician. After forming Kick Production with Rick Mulhall, Terry began a 20-year career composing music for film and television at their Soho studios. He has played live with Transglobal Underground and Temple of Sound, and currently combines writing for Lovelabltd.com, touring with the band Loungeclash and playing with Celine And Nite Wreckage.
