Musician, singer, composer, producer and arranger. Founder of the punk band Dangerous Rhythm (2) in Mexico by the end of 1978. Born in Cuba, he arrived to Mexico as a child and studied music from an early age, which led him to be one of the main characters of Mexican rock in the 80's. Dangerous Rhythm evolved into Ritmo Peligroso, one of the first Latin rock bands with a "fusion" sound of Afro rhythms and rock. Together with Kenny Y Los Electricos, Mask (11), Rostros Ocultos, among others, they formed a new generation of musicians that seemed to encourage Mexican rock scene to grow and compete with Argentine and Spanish bands of the time. In 1992 he recorded his solo album, [m2519329], in London, produced by the Colombian musician Chucho Merchan, where David A. Stewart played guitar. From the recording of this album the band Los Humanos was formed, with whom he also recorded an album. In 1998 he reunited with Ritmo Peligroso to edit and compile what would become the album Cortes Finos. In 2002 with the co-production of Sabo Romo he recorded Matacandela. He currently lives in Miami, where he produces and directs several projects with his friend Fernando Arau.
