Michael Cruz is a Bay Area based musician, filmmaker, visual artist, and television host. Michael Cruz first came to prominence in 2013, joining Fish Breath and contributing songs on 3 of the 4 releases. After the breakup of Fish Breath in 2016, he would release music as AV2 2:27 with roommate Sam Castellvi. Soon after, he would start Combo with Keith Frerichs (Stucko, Toytota, GRMLN, Keith Ival.) Michael would also perform and release music solo as Plunk 67 and later, The Michael Cruz Society. Michael Cruz is also known for his films and youtube series, "The Michael Cruz Show." His first film received accolades from Director Rian Johnson (Brick, Looper, Star Wars) and has since premiered later works at the Kabuki Theatre and Artist's Television Access.
