Luke Whitehead

British classical contrabassoon/bassoon player and lecturer. Born in Thorne, South Yorkshire, England, UK. He studied at the Royal Northern College Of Music. Principal Contrabassoon of the Orquestra Nacional do Porto, Portugal (2001), the Orquesta Filharmonica de Santiago, Chile (2008), and the Philharmonia Orchestra (since 2011). Lecturer at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
