Sandro Zaninović

Croatian/American conductor and composer. Born October 20, 1934 in Velo Grablje on the island of Hvar. Completed conducting at the Zagreb Music Academy, Stjepan Šulek class. Worked at the Zagreb Komedija Theatre, Zagreb Radio and Croatian National Theatre Split. From 1967 he lives in the US, where he spells his name Sandro Zaninovich. Founder of the Beverly Hills Chamber Orchestra.
