Visual artist born in 1970, in Hyogo, Japan, SAL started painting in 1996. Being a graphic artist in the early days, he went through a drastic change in his art style in 2008 where one of his methods included pencil drawings on big pieces of patchwork canvases. His focus now is more on expressing the aspects of humanity, where one can see the influence of the Japanese naturalistic art style from his graphic artist days. He is known for creating the album covers for DJ Krush's Best series in 2006. He has also been commissioned to create artworks for various clients including the ballroom mural at the Hyatt Regency in Düsseldorf (GER).
