 Born in Greece, he's lived, played, and studied in 12 cities, 6 countries, and 2 continents. In a past life he had two releases with the new wave band Art Of Parties, a fun time with his brother, Δημήτρη Βασιλάκη (Dimitrios Vassilakis) and few good friends, releasing one single with Creep Records and one DIY album under a label put together with band-mate Θανάση Οικονόμου (Athanassios Economou). Then came music studies in London, award-wining works for the English National Ballet and the London Chinese Orchestra, graduate studies at UCLA, and an academic career in music perception, psychoacoustics, film music, & noise mitigation. 
 Disillusioned with academia, he founded AcousticsLab / Sound4Vision in 2016, specializing in Creative and Scientific Consulting in Audio Arts & Acoustics, working with the Hollywood Bowl and the LA Philharmonic, the Port of Los Angeles, The KAABOO Experience, and others. In 2020, 30 years after his last release, Covid19 froze all live entertainment, giving him “permission” to return to music-making and the joy that comes with springing new songs out of 'nothing.'
