Olof Ander

Swedish viola and violin player that grew up in Vargön, born January 20, 1984. He studied viola and violin at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm and at the University of the Arts Berlin for Professor [a1684569], conductor of the Berlin Philharmonic. Olof is a professional freelance musician and plays with Drottningholm's baroque ensemble and Drottningholm's castle theater's orchestra. He works as a studio musician, producer and composes his own music. Olof has a solid interest in folk music and this has led him to also treat the instruments Swedish mandola, English cistern and Irish zither. Both classical and folk music have taken him on tours around Europe. The 18th century instrument Viola d´Amore is the latest addition to his musical arsenal. Since the spring of 2017, he is also involved in the Uppsala Chamber Orchestra.
