Teachers were established singers such as Margareta Abrahamsson, Sture Ekholm and Hanne Juul. In 2009, the record "Malvina – Maria Pihl sings Ola Magnell" was released, in which Ola himself was personally involved. Örjan Hjorth is another singer with whom Maria collaborated both live and on record. Maria has performed on some of Sweden's big music stages such as Holmön's music festival, Steninge music festival, Falkenberg music festival and Landskrona music festival. But also at Norwegian singing festivals such as the one at Skåtoya and at "Viser ved kanalen". At church concerts she has been backed by the legendary musicians Georg Riedel and Stefan Nilsson. During the summer of 2012, Maria participated as a singer, actress and guide in "Nu går vi till fabriken" - a dramatized walk about Jonsered's mill site history, where Maria set Claes Pihl's visual texts to music and where David Anthin was responsible for the script. The walk quickly became popular and was also given in the summer of 2013. In December 2013, Kakafon Records released the record "Nu går vi till fabriken - newly written songs about life in a working society". Above all, Maria Pihl, KG Malm, Bosse Stenholm, Anna Foster, Greger Siljebo and Per Johansson take part there. During 2014 and 2015, the walk developed into a pure music and theater performance which, among other things, was released as a lunch theater at Göteborgs Stadsteater.
