In 1995, he created the Kurun dance group with Yann-Fanch Le Coz and Yann Cariou. With this fest-noz formation, Roland Conq explores the Breton world in his own way, mixing his many influences at the service of dance. Roland Conq participates in numerous duet and trio formations, in trio with Erwan Hamon, Pierre Le Toux (trio of Breton music), with Arnaud Ciapolino and Mc Menemy (trio of Scottish music), in duet with Ronan Pinc (violin) , Yannig Noguet (diatonic accordion), with Nolwenn Runigo (vocals) ... Roland Conq also participates in the Chouk formations, alongside Stéphane Morvan (wood flute), Yann-Fanch Perroches (diatonic accordion), Hélène Brunet (Laud), and participated in Bagad de Concarneau, when he was playing the Scottish bagpipe, and Shafali (oriental music). He also performed in an already famous trio, the Roland Conq Trio, with Erwan Béranguer (acoustic guitar and member of Obrée Alie) and Vincent Guerin (double bass). This trio mixes all genres: fusion between traditional music, jazz and classical, fusion also at the level of the terroirs, marrying with accuracy those of Ireland, Brittany, Eastern Europe. In 2002, the Roland Conq Trio published his first eponymous record at Coop Breizh.
