Francesc Mas I Ros

(Caldes de Malavella, 27/01/1901 - 23/08/1985) Catalan composer and editor, began in music to the "Fundació Escolar de Sant Josep de Cluny" in Caldes de Malavella, and complement the studies of self-taught. He was the pianist of the orchestra Jadris, and then stood as a composer of dance. He abandoned the genre in the forties, and helped initially by Pere Mercader adopted Sardana as a unique form of music, and worked with just as much intensity as Vicenç Bou.
