Swedish professor of music theory, composer, arranger and musician, born 9 August 1945 in Stockholm. He is educated at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm where he took music management and music teacher degrees and higher pedagogical degree in music theory and studied counterpoint and composition for Hans Eklund. He has also studied musicology at Stockholm University. Lundin became a teacher at the then Gothenburg Academy of Music in 1974, now the School of Stage and Music at the University of Gothenburg, where he taught subjects such as music theory, composition and morphology. He became a professor of music theory in 2007. As a composer, Lundin has composed mainly vocal and church music. He has arranged for Elisabet Hermodsson on the album "Disa Nilsons visor" (1975) and for the group Skogsfiol och Flöjt in which he himself was guitarist and singer.
