Leda Moreno

Born: May 26, 1945 in Mexico City, Mx. Mexican singer. One of the very few female singers during the 60's Rock 'N Roll era in Mexico in which the popular songs sung in English were recorded in Spanish. Famous due to her yodeling style of singing. At the age of 16 she met Diego De Cossio who had just formed Hermanos Carrion. After hearing her sing, they persuaded her to try out with an important record label. In 1961 she would record her first of 2 LPs with Columbia. On August 14, 1965 she married Rudy de Wolff, member of The Blue Diamonds with whom she had a daughter: Dalila.
