Escape Grace

From the murky musical swamplands of Gainesville, Florida rises a striking organic specimen known simply as ESCAPE GRACE. Discovered in it's modern evolutionary form in autumn of 2002, the species began to anchor itself firmly to the muddy undergrowth nourishing it's complex system of extremities with the interest of any human caught in it's beautifully intense sonic and aesthetic display. Immediately upon arrival the species began to show mobility in motovation to further distribute it's natural development. In a constant search for sustainance, regional exhibitions of ESCAPE GRACE then ensued, including a two week showing ranging from the sands of coastal Carolina, to the rocky hills of northern Pennsylvania, and the concrete expansiveness of Chicago. The quality and variation of flora and fauna found alongside ESCAPE GRACE at these exhibitions is staggering, and includes former displays with Mastodon, Hot Water Music, Curl Up and Die, Suicide Note, Against Me!, The Fucking Champs, Majority Rule, Kylesa, Strike Anywhere, Stereotyperider, The Promise, and Bane. The aural bloom of ESCAPE GRACE is comprised of 4 sepals, or elements that give the flower it's overall structure, perfume, and color. The posterior sepals, which create much of the rigidity of the bloom, are those of RYAN MCGRATH, who's up-tempo thunder and odd time signatures hold the blossom firmly to the stem, and MATT DOUGHERTY, which supplies thundering gainy low end complimenting McGrath's bombasts thereby creating a latticework of matrices that are as driving as they are powerful. The anterior portion of the bloom adds hue and texture to it's already articulate form with JONATHAN HAMILTON'S innovative technical and tonal superiority, which supplements the posterior section by supplying a platform for COLE HARPER to coat the entire structure with wickedly sadistic semantics. The manifestation of this stunning natural wonder shows no probable forecast for arrest in the future. Included in the projected infiltration of ecosystems is a CDep and LP to be distributed by Rhode Island's CITY OF HELL RECORDS (As the Sun Sets, Daughters) and a busy late 2003/early 2004 schedule of live exhibitions. It is suggested that if one comes into contact with ESCAPE GRACE, to call the proper ecological and catastrophic response teams to restore environmental order and safety.
