Bob Black (3)

UK based drummer and artist manager. Involved in numerous bands in South London and in South Wales with Krypton Tunes, he also performed briefly with Ronnie Lane. Bob later moved into artist management with Dick O'dell, managing The Slits, The Pop Group, the Electric Chairs, The Passions and the Mo-Dettes. Bob worked alongside David Cunningham and appeared on Top Of The Pops in 1981 with the Flying Lizards. Bob also worked in partnership with a young Rick Rogers, manager of the Specials and the Two Tone label, working with the Tearjerkers, the late Matt Fretton. He moved to Cornwall after a brief stint managing Maximum Joy and putting together compilations albums for Polygram Records. He worked as an educational software developer and disability activist before returning to music in 2006 to form Falmouth Soul Sensation.
