Saint Augustine

Born 13 November 354 in Thagaste, Numidia (now Souk Ahras, Algeria, died 28 August 430 in Hippo Regius, Numidia (now modern-day Annaba, Algeria). Latin philosopher and theologian from Roman Africa and generally considered as one of the greatest Christian thinkers of all times. His writings were very influential in the development of Western Christianity.
