Driven was a christian metalcore band from Granby, Connecticut. The band originally formed in 1993 under the name Release and was based in Ohio. After relocating to Connecticut, and finding another band named Release from the New England area, they decided to change the band's name to Driven. In 1997, the band changed name again to Veiled, and later that year another name change led them to become Blood Has Been Shed.
