(1913-1983), German publisher and founder of Schallplattenverlag Hermann Schulte, Verlag Schulte & Gerth, Gerth Medien GmbH ... Sometimes he also appeared as a spokesman for Christian themes. Schulte was one of the most influential and visionary Christian media actors. In 1959, he was co-founder of the Christian broadcast network Evangeliums-Rundfunk (ERF). He operated either in connection with ERF or his own media company HSW – Hermann Schulte, Wetzlar. Schulte was also very interested in technical issues and was amongst others founder of HSW-Tonstudio Wetzlar and ERF-Tonstudios.
