Wayne Paulo

In the 1960's, with a second hand guitar from a junk shop and a lot of heartbreak as a teenager, at first Wayne added a notebook (no not a computer, literally a notebook) then he sang into a cassette recorder to make it official, then a 6' x 6' garden shed with reel to reel tape recording launched his studio period, automatic echo was achieved by the sounds bouncing off the shovel, spade and lawn mower! Eventually he progressed to his own eight track Recording Studio in Blackpool, Lancashire, UK, producing demos and records for new bands. His first published songs were on Vinyl, in the mid 70's, an EP (extended play vinyl) released on the Storm Records Present John Wall & Mike Whiteman label, featured his first Country release Pretty Little Smile, followed by a slightly more radical White Honky Music. Wayne was singing in the clubs and American bases for about ten years but it wasn't happening for him so he drifted away from music and he started doing a lot of bit part acting, some of you will have seen him on TV without even knowing, in Sherlock Holmes, Brideshead Revisited and Coronation Street!. Wayne pursued his passion for Photography, it was very successful and became one of his many careers! As technology changed through the years he found himself producing DVD's and YouTube videos and with that of course came the need for background music, then developing a photography learning website for children led him into composing and singing again for getbettterpictures.com and their cartoon Camera Family. The song and video "Get The Picture" was presented to encourage kids with their photography but it also started to relight his fire as a Singer/Songwriter. He started to look through his original compositions and was pleasantly surprised by how much he still liked them! His style and taste varies from Country to Reggae, Latin to Rhythm & Blues so choosing what would be the first style to come out of my revitalised Storm Music.
