French actor, composer and pianist born January 29, 1929 in Avignon and died October 2, 2010 in Lorraine (Québec, Canada). Emigrated to Montreal in 1952 as the pianist of Irene Hilda. He later went on to work with Paul Berval at the then popular cabaret 'Le Beu Qui Rit'. Most people will remember him as Mr. Lavigueur, the landlord, in the popular TV series 'Moi Et L'Autre' starring Denise Filiatrault and Dominique Michel. He also was the French cook in 'Chez Denise'. Later, in the 1980's, he was part of 'Le Festival De L'Humour Québécois' with Tex Lecor, Louis-Paul Allard, Shirley Theroux and Pierre Labelle. He married Denyse Émond on October 20, 1959, in Montreal and Christine Charbonneau on December 12, 1969, in Montreal. He was also married to actress Johanne Fontaine.
