Yancatooz

Belgian psychobilly-band from Geraardsbergen (Grammont). Later on their homebase was Ghent. Around 1985 Frank (Guitar), Jerome (Bass) and Stix (drums) decide to start up psychobilly-band The Yancatooz. They played for almost 6 years lots and lots of gigs in Belgium and Europe with all the great oldschool-psychobands from that time (Batmobile, Demented, Swampys, Jeckills, Ratmen, Klingonz, Frantic Flintstones, Banana Metalik, Bang Bang Bazooka, Coffin' Nails, Highliners, Long Tall Texans, Mad Sin, POX, Quakes, Scam, Torment, even Toy Dolls and many more). A great succes story that ended dramaticaly when the bassplayer Jerome died in a motorcrash and later the drummer Stix moved to Rotterdam. They released one CD [r3629145]. Later, with other bandmembers, they released Belly-Boxing. But now, 20 years later, the drummer JB Stix (now drumming in his own band RAMVILLE - highenergy powerrockabilly - Ramonestribute) sets up again the once so popular and wanted Yancatooz!
