Schola Cantorum Ward Instituut Roermond

The 22 members of the Schola come from all corners of Limburg and Brabant (Provinces of the Netherlands). They are enthusiastic singers of Gregorian chant, many of whom are choirmaster or singer in their own hometown. All choir members are familiar with semiology, which is why the schola makes the Gregorian chants sound according to the latest melodic and rhythmic ideas. Within liturgical celebrations and concerts, the Schola wants to contribute to stimulating interest in Gregorian chant.
