Born: 13 February 1935, Hackney, London; Died: 17 August 2011. Self-taught UK artist, painter, illustrator and art director - who once worked as a porter in London's Smithfield meat market. His work reached the mainstream of attention when he did the cover for The Female Eunuch by Germaine Greer.
