Nick Tyson

Nick Tyson is a guitarist and composer. Nick studied for BA in Jazz Studies at Leeds College of Music, graduating with a first class degree in 2007. Specialising in performance and composition, he gained numerous awards, notably the ‘Eric Kershaw Memorial Award for Plectrum Guitar’. In the same year, Nick was recognised by Yamaha, Jazzwise and the parliamentary awards for jazz as winner of the first ‘Outstanding Jazz Musician Scholarship Award’ (Nick Tyson. (n.d.).
