Vitaly Vladimirovich Shapovalov ( May 1, 1939 , Yurkovka , Kiev region , Ukrainian SSR , USSR - November 14, 2017 , Moscow , Russia ) is a Soviet and Russian theater and film actor. Illness and death On October 25, 2017, Vitaly Vladimirovich, while at home, fell unsuccessfully. As a result, there was a dislocation in the hip joint, where an endoprosthesis was installed five years ago. Ex-wife Irina Borisovna, who took care of Vitaly Vladimirovich, called an ambulance. The patient was hospitalized in Botkin hospital, where the dislocation was corrected. Then the artist was sent for rehabilitation to the hospital of the Presidential Administration of Russia on Starovolynskaya Street. There was a rapid swelling of the diseased leg and a diagnosis of "phlegmon" was made. The patient was operated on. The last few days after the operation, Vitaly Vladimirovich was in extremely serious condition. He died at the age of 79 on November 14, 2017 in the hospital. He was buried at the Troekurovsky Cemetery in Moscow.
