Janet Gaynor

American actress born October 6, 1906 in Germantown, Philadelphia, U.S. She began her career in silent film. In less than a year, she was one of the most notorious stars in Hollywood. Her first collaboration with Frank Borzage scored several other films with Charles Farrell (2). With some great success during the transition, she has brilliantly continued into the sound era until the late 1930's. She died September 14, 1984 in Palm Springs, California, U.S.
