William Bright

American gospel singer. Possessed of an extensive vocal range that allowed him to sing quartet parts from tenor to bass, he sang with many of Philadelphia’s gospel ensembles including the Gospel Stirrers, the Violinaires, the Sons of Calvary, Ben Myers and the Gospel Edition and the Huff Singers. Died 2017, Philadelphia, aged 77.
