Maxim Chapochnikov

Maxim Chapotchnikov (sometimes spelled Shaposhnikov) was born in the Ural, Russia in 1963. After having studied economy in Moscou, he moved to Amsterdam in 1988 and became DJ, music researcher and artist. As a club- and mix DJ he sometimes uses the name DJ Goldfinger, and as a radio DJ on Amsterdam's Radio 100, he uses the name Captain Cook. He was head of the KidNap Records label.
