Nikko Patrelakis
Настоящее имя: Nikko Patrelakis
Об исполнителе:
Born in Athens, Greece, Patrelakis played a critical role in establishing the reputations of clubs like X-Club, Factory and +Soda in Athens. In 1999 he composed and produced a single with Paul McCartney, "Voice", featuring his wife Heather Mills on vocals, and all proceeds went to her charity for people with disabilities. In 2003 Patrelakis set up his own label, Smallhouse Records, through which he now releases most of his music. His latest single, "Time", was greeted by rave reviews and spent nine weeks in Greece's official top 50. He has also composed and produced music for two feature films, five stage plays and numerous TV commercials. In addition, he has presented and produced several shows on Greek TV and radio stations and has been a music editor for several Greek magazines. His movie work includes the soundtrack for "Hostage", directed by Constantine Giannaris, and has been nominated for best musical score in the 46th International Thessaloniki film festival. Accustomed to playing to large crowds, nothing quite prepared Patrelakis for his appearance at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, where he performed with the London Philharmonic Orchestra to millions worldwide.
