Karl Ludwig Haenchen

German photograph and Schlager songwriter, born September 11, 1911 in Berlin, German Empire and died March 5, 2003 in Dolcedo-Castellazzo, Italy. Educated as history and sports teacher, he turned to photography and opened his first studio in 1930. After 1945, he focussed on photography of international celebrities, mainly portrait photography. In the 1960's he additionally started to write lyrics for Schlager productions.
