Alfredo Sanchez

Guitarist, keyboardist, singer and composer/songwriter from Mexico has been a member of the groups Ars Antigua, medieval and renaissance music and El Personal, reggae and rock. He has composed music for television programs, documentaries and short films. He has worked closely with musicians like Jaramar Soto and José Fors. He is also a journalist and runs the cultural magazine Señal de humo on Radio Universidad de Guadalajara. He is a columnist for culture in the newspaper El Informador, from Guadalajara. Silhouette like siren, orchestral work by Mexican composer Ricardo Zohn, premiered in New York in 2007. The work is inspired by the songs of Alfredo Sánchez, who also participated as a soloist in the premiere with the Riverside Symphony Orchestra, conducted by George Rothman. Alfredo Sánchez is a keyboardist with the rock group Forseps, whose leader is José Fors with whom he has worked in the musical production and string arrangements of rock operas: Dr. Frankenstein and Orlok, the vampire. He is also a keyboardist and guitarist for the composer Gerardo Enciso.
