First Dgree

Hardcore hip-hop collective from Fresno, California. The group, lead by rapper Spicee Dre released this vinyl/cassette single on the local Jam City Records. Throughout the 90's and even today Spicee Dre continues to make cameo apperances on several Fresno hip-hop albums. First Dgree shares a similar name to another Northern California artist, First Degree The D.E.. The D.E. was contacted several years ago on a hip-hop message forum about a possible connection between the two names, he simply replied, "Never heard of this."
