In 2002, Brady Lee Lahr helped found and became president of KUFALA Recordings , a music label and distribution company that assisted independent artists, as well as famous bands such as Pearl Jam and Crowded House, in sharing their songs with fans, mainly through selling CDs of live shows. Brady Lee Lahr, age 36, passed away on March 15, 2012 in Templeton, California due to complications of esophageal cancer. Brady was born in and grew up in Eugene, Oregon, where he graduated from South Eugene High School in 1999. After high school, Brady attended the Art Institute of Seattle and began work in the music industry, which eventually took him to the Bay Area and Los Angeles. Brady’s great love was music and he found true happiness in helping musicians connect with their fans through his work. He was respected for always trying to get a fair deal for artists and providing great service to fans. He was admired by many for how successfully he was able to turn his passion into a career.
