Anna Noferini

Anna Noferini is an Italian classical violinist and violist. She is the daughter of Giordano Noferini and pianist Maria Grazia, and the sister of Roberto Noferini and Andrea Noferini. She won the 1st prize with distinction in violin at Bruxelles' music school in 1986 as a student of Arthur Grumiaux. She also graduated from Milano's music school in 1990, then graduated Summa cum Laude in viola in 2010 from Florence's music school. From 1991 she has played as a first violin in the Orchestra Del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, with Zubin Mehta as principal conductor. She plays chamber music, especially duos with piano and trios, with her two brothers Andrea and Roberto. She also plays early music in other ensembles.
