Александр Раквиашвили

Alexander Rakviashvili is a Georgian composer, born 1st August 1943 in Baley, Chita region, USSR. In 1969 he graduated from the Tbilisi Conservatory in the composition class of A.M. Balanchivadze. In 1969-1972 he was the artistic director of the variety orchestra of Georgian Television. Since 1973, he has been the head of the musical part of the Tbilisi Russian Drama Theater named after A.
