Swedish doctor, songwriter and artist, born May 11, 1971. Widegren is a doctor in medical science and works as a specialist in ear, nose and throat diseases and phoniatry at the University Hospital in Lund. He completed his dissertation in 2010 on the thesis Innate defense mechanisms of the nasal airway. Alongside his work as a doctor, Henrik Widegren has been active in various music and entertainment contexts, originally within the student world. During the 1990s, he was one of the leading actors in Lundaspexarna - among other things he played the title role in Uarda in 1998 - and was also the ensemble's director for a number of productions. Together with the composer Joel Bexelius, he also wrote the newly written musical Spel, which was staged at the Academic Association in 2001. Since 2016, he is a member of the panel in the SVT production Fråga Lund.
