Cormac Ó hAdodáin

French horn player, conductor, and teacher. Born in 1971 in Dublin, Ireland. He studied at the Royal Irish Academy Of Music, Dublin. He continued his studies at the Royal Northern College Of Music (1990-1994) and The Guildhall School Of Music & Drama (1994-1995). He represented Ireland in the European Union Youth Orchestra (1993-1996). In 1997 he joined The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. In 1999 he moved to the Philharmonia Orchestra. Principal Horn of the RTÉ Concert Orchestra since 2009. Founding member of Cassiopeia Winds (a Wind Quintet), Vox Merus (a Brass Quintet) and Musici Ireland (a Chamber Ensemble). He joined the teaching staff of the Royal Irish Academy of Music in 2015.
