Blues singer, steel guitarist, fiddle player, a.k.a. "Good Rockin'" Robinson, born on 13 May 1914 in Brenham, Texas, died on 26 September 1976 in Berkeley, California. With his brother A.C. Robinson moved to the West Coast c. 1940. Recorded with his brother as The Robinson Brothers (3) for Black & White in 1945, and under his own name for Rhythm in 1954, World Pacific in 1968, Arhoolie in 1971, and for Bluesway in 1974.
