Richard Avitts

US rock guitar player (October 31, 1941 Alvin, TX / October 3, 2020 Katy, TX). In 1966 he and some friends put together a little band and played all over the Houston area. He moved to Las Vegas for a brief time where he performed at the Taj Mahal and other venues on the Vegas Strip. In 1968 he formed United Gas that eventually changed the name to Christopher. In the early 70s he changed completely life becoming a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
