Евгений Потоцкий

Evgeniy Pototskiy, a professional musician (Kiev State Higher Musical College named after R.M. Glier, violin class), in 1985 created the rock group Странники ("Wanderers"), which initially consisted of 4 members - three guitarists and a keyboardist. Of course, when Eugene wanted to go beyond the boundaries of the disco program, the group broke up without him (1993). Evgeny Pototsky was born on January 4, 1960 in the Ukrainian city of Belaya Tserkov. He bore his father's surname - Semenenko, but later changed it to his mother's surname - Pototsky. Mother came from an old noble family of Potocki. Poles came to Bila Tserkva to shoot a film about Eugene, as a descendant of the famous Polish family of Counts Pototskikh. Evgeny Pototsky died in 2001, before his 41st birthday. He was buried at the Sukhoi Yar cemetery in the town of Belaya Tserkov.
